Jinjiang Inn Ortigas

PROS: Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very good high-speed internet. Three-pronged outlets for ease of plugging in laptops. Clean rooms. Good blackout curtains. Good location. Respected my need for daytime quiet. Very quiet overall. CONS: Food not very good. Air conditioning drippy. Musty smell. Laundry not offered onsite. No additional amenities. Pillows not comfortable and felt springs in the bed. Overall, I would say this is a good, safe hotel for a short-term stay. Not comfortable for a long-term stay if you enjoy additional amenities. However some items like the wifi and the outlets were really good compared to other nicer hotels.

This is my first time trying to book a hotel as an adult, and I’m so proud of myself for that. Originally, Jinjiang Inn wasn’t my first booked staycation for that day, because I booked a room at a different hotel a couple of days before. Unfortunately, I encountered problems at the other hotel establishment on the day of our check-in date, which is why I have to find another hotel immediately. I searched for nearby hotels on Google Maps, and I saw Jinjiang Hotel in the list, and I noticed that it’s very affordable. I booked our room in Jinjiang Inn using Agoda as well as cashless payment, and the transaction was very quick and easy. The receptionists are very nice and attentive to the guests needs. When we arrived at our room, I was excited and delighted about it. The comfort room was spacious, nice, and clean. They also have an international channel like Korean for Korean lovers like me and a cartoon channel for kids. There’s just some part of the room that's a little damaged, but I don’t mind. Lastly, my favorite of all and most important for me is the bed. It’s soft, bouncy, and comfortable, and the blanket is warm, while the pillows are the best. So far, that's the pillow that's the most comfortable I’ve used in my whole life. HAHAHA. Thank you so much, Jinjiang. My mom and I had a great time. My mom gets to rest comfortably after not getting enough sleep these past few days. It’s just one night, but it’s memorable to us☺️. Hope to see you again soon!

I chose this because it’s just 100m walk from my office. I booked a Business Room for an overnight stay but was upgraded to a business suite upon check-in. The breakfast buffet was decent for this hotel booking that I paid for. Some of the dishes though were not replenished at 8am. Breakfast time is from 6am to 10am. Oh, the sofa was so relaxing to sit on while watching tv. The room has a working desk too with accessible outlets. The staffs are generally nice from the security guards, front desk, dining staffs and housekeepers. We had to request soaps though because none was set up. They quickly delivered. The room’s interior, an amenity and a furniture aren’t in perfect condition (aesthetically) but functional. Functionality is what’s matters most to me for the purpose of the stay.

Stayed 3D2N. Business trip. Accessible, easy to find, walking distance to a lot of convenience stores and fast food chains/good restos. About the room... CONS: needs more light (white or bright lights), wallpapers torn on certain areas, aircon does leak and sometimes, droplets are on the bed -- what worked for me was maintaining the temp at 21 to 23 deg.C; lacks top holder/bathroom rack inside shower area; kettle was very dirty and rusty so decided not to use PROS: spacious, full ammenities, BEST BED-PILLOWS COMBO I've had in a 3-star hotel. This means a lot to me; full curtains even in bathroom; very clean and no particular scent/smell *** the topmost lock on the door is not jammed or broken -- I belive it's a safety lock (see photo). *** you may ask for more hangers but best to bring your own *** no iron/board in the room. No laundry service. *** exhaust is connected to one of the light switch. Hoping this could be improved (separate switches, please) *** Noise level depends on neighboring visitors. Lucky that my floor was quiet during those days. Breakfast Buffet @ Horizon Cafe was a 6/10 for me. Filling selections, but the taste is so-so. OK for Php600/day. Service...THANK YOU. On day 1, I went back to the hotel and I was very tired. I asked one of the housekeepers if she would kindly ask the kitchen if they can reheat my food -- she accepted and helped me with it. Kudos to ms. Maricel for your service. Everyone was very helpful (from the guards, frontdesk, housekeeping, kitchen/dining). Very professional. I enjoyed my stay. Will book again.
